Lucid Dream is built on a repeating loop consisting of pandeiro, HAPI drum and kalimba. This cyclical foundation establishes a steady and atmospheric framework over which the thematic material unfolds.
The main theme is presented jointly by Styrian harmonica and vibraphone. It is followed by two improvisational sections: first by the Styrian harmonica in a sustained and restrained manner, then by the vibraphone with a more agile and animated character.
After the return of the theme, the loop is gradually reduced, and the piece fades out.
Lucid Dream is recorded on the album Zwischen zwei Welten by Quetsch ’n’ Vibes.
