This trio arrangement of Johann Sebastian Bach’s chorale Jesus bleibet meine Freude adapts the well-known movement to the instrumentation of Quetsch ‘n’ Vibes.

The polyphonic structure of the original is retained within a transparent chamber texture. The sustained lines of the vibraphone and marimba support the chorale setting, while the Styrian accordion carries and connects the melodic layers.

The arrangement preserves the calm and steady character of Bach’s writing, focusing on clarity of voice leading and balance between the instruments.
