This arrangement of the Humming Chorus from Giacomo Puccini’s opera Madama Butterfly transfers the well-known orchestral passage into a chamber setting for accordion (or Styrian accordion), marimba and musical saw.

The sustained and atmospheric character of the original is retained, while the texture is adapted to the distinct timbral qualities of the three instruments.
