This arrangement of Franz Lehár’s well-known waltz Gold und Silber transfers the original orchestral writing to the trio setting of Quetsch ‘n’ Vibes. The musical material is adapted with close attention to texture and phrasing, preserving the characteristic elegance and flowing character of Lehár’s composition.

The distribution between Styrian accordion, vibraphone and marimba allows the melodic lines and inner voices to remain clearly articulated while maintaining a transparent chamber texture. The arrangement remains largely faithful to the original structure and harmonic design.
