This revised quartet version forms one side of the double-sided edition published by Vienna Percussion Editions. The arrangement preserves the structural clarity and forward momentum of Fučík’s march while expanding the colour palette through a prominent solo for musical saw.

An optional tuba may be added to reinforce the bass foundation and broaden the overall sonority. If the musical saw is not available, another unconventional instrument may be substituted to achieve a comparable effect.

A large percussion ensemble version is published alongside this quartet setting.
Earlier quartet and trio versions of the work also exist.
