This trio arrangement of Johann Strauss’ Tritsch-Tratsch-Polka adapts the lively concert polka for the instrumentation of Quetsch ‘n’ Vibes. The rhythmic drive and sharp articulation of the original are preserved, while the redistribution of material across Styrian accordion, vibraphone, desk bells and marimba creates a compact and transparent ensemble texture.

The characteristic wit of the polka is conveyed through quick exchanges between the instruments and clearly defined articulations, maintaining the lightness and momentum of Strauss’ writing without exaggeration.

The piece is recorded on the album Kaleidoskop by Quetsch ‘n’ Vibes.
A version for percussion quartet is also available.

This work has been recorded on CD.
