Slow Times is a work for solo vibraphone and forms part of the collection Sticking Together. The piece unfolds as a loose succession of contrasting motifs and episodic sections, creating a reflective musical narrative rather than a strictly linear structure.

Its character is calm and introspective, marked by a subtle melancholy and a restrained expressive language. The open form allows space for nuance in phrasing and sound production, placing particular emphasis on tone colour and sustain.

In addition to the solo version, a duo arrangement for vibraphone and piano has been developed, expanding the harmonic dimension while preserving the work’s intimate atmosphere.
