This arrangement of the 47er Regimentsmarsch by Josef Franz Wagner expands the well-known Austrian march into a larger percussion ensemble setting.

While the core melodic material and characteristic rhythmic drive of the original are preserved, the broader instrumentation allows for a more layered distribution of voices. The mallet instruments carry the melodic and harmonic structure, while optional percussion parts reinforce the martial character and dynamic presence of the march.

The arrangement maintains the clarity and forward momentum of Wagner’s original while adapting its sound to a contemporary percussion ensemble context.
