Trito-Nussn-Blues is a studio production created with overdubs and recorded on the album Zwischen zwei Welten by Quetsch ’n’ Vibes. A cajón provides the rhythmic foundation, over which the main theme is stated on the Styrian accordion.
Improvised solos follow on melodica and vibraphone, each adding a distinct colour within the blues framework.
The title is a wordplay combining the prominence of the tritone interval in the composition with “Nussn” (“nuts”), reflecting the piece’s playful character.
