This work is a detailed transcription of Bag’s Groove as performed by Gary Burton and Makoto Ozone on the DVD Live at Montreux 2002.

The transcription documents the musical dialogue between vibraphone and piano with particular attention to phrasing, articulation, timing and formal clarity. Special care is taken to capture sections with flexible timing and subtle displacement within the groove, preserving the character of the recorded performance.

Chord symbols and formal markers are included to clarify the harmonic framework and structural layout, making the transcription suitable both for performance and for detailed study.
